"Hometown Heroes"
12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Y at the Carol Edwards Center
WANTED: "Hometown Heroes" This year’s entire 19th Birthday Celebration will be run by Community Volunteers
We need HEROES: groups and individuals that can step up to the plate and help, with time, leadership & resources. Including Setup & Teardown.
On March 31, 2012, we will be starting the first day of our 20th year. We are also coming full circle, our first Cityhood Celebration was all volunteer based. We didn't have the City Structure back then. It was just "we the City of Woodinville", our Citizens, Community groups, Nonprofits, Churches, Business, Schools & a newly elected City Council.
* UPDATE Many thanks to The Y at the Carol Edwards Center for providing the space for the event, with activities & entertainment included.
Please remember to thank all our hometown heroes, citizens that are volunteering their time to make this event happen.
